Instructors
APICS Solano Chapter maintains a high level of standards for its regular, associated instructors as well as substitute and backup instructors. Each instructor must maintain at least one current Certification and keep abreast of new programs.
Our instructors have hands-on experience relating to the APICS Body of Knowledge and are able to give students a well-rounded learning experience including real-life examples.
Our instructors:
Have at least 5 years practical experience in Operations Management.
Have passed an acceptance interview by the BOD.
Must maintain an average class rating of 4.0 or above.
Promote educational activities at the chapter, district or national level.
Donald D. Clark, II, CFPIM, CSCP
Donald is currently serving as the President of Solano Chapter. His professional experience has been focused in operations and manufacturing management and has held positions ranging from production manager through vice president of manufacturing prior to beginning his consulting career. He has more than 13 years experience teaching the APICS body of knowledge and a variety of other operations related classes in numerous settings and to students with varying levels of experience as well as organizational position. Donald also creates and delivers educational presentations and seminars focusing on various aspects of supply chain, inventory, operations, quality and materials management. He has delivered educational programs and original presentations to numerous APICS chapter and district events.
Deena N. Sheranko, CFPIM
Deena is the past-president of Solano Chapter and currently Executive VP. She has over 20 years experience encompassing Planning, Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Inventory and Purchasing management in manufacturing, government contract and retail industries. Deena received her CPIM in 1991 and has taught for Solano Chapter since 2005. She is active at APICS chapter and district levels and has presented at several District Leadership Institutes.
