Certification Maintenance

Keep your APICS CPIM, CFPIM, and CSCP certifications current and valid through the Certification Maintenance program. Every five years after receiving your APICS certification you will submit the Certification Maintenance Application and the Professional Development Journal included in the APICS certification maintenance bulletin and a processing fee to keep your credentials up-to-date.


Maintaining your APICS certification through professional development points


Most operations management-related activities will help you earn points toward maintaining your certification. APICS CPIM and APICS CSCP designees must earn a total of 75 professional development points while APICS CFPIM designees must earn a total of 100 professional development points within each five year period after receiving their certification.
